About the role
This position supports the development and maintenance of accurate network infrastructure records that are critical to NC State’s campus-wide telecommunications systems. Working within the Network Infrastructure Records team, the role ensures that engineers and stakeholders have reliable, up-to-date data for planning, design, and operations.
Responsibilities
- Supports the development and maintenance of accurate network infrastructure records.
- Ensures that engineers and stakeholders have reliable, up-to-date data for planning, design, and operations.
- Contributes directly to the integrity of infrastructure documentation, enabling efficient project execution and long-term system sustainability.
Qualifications
- Associate’s Degree in the assigned discipline; or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with AutoCAD software.
- Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally.
- Previous experience using ArcGIS or other GIS software.
