Engineering Tech Lead
About Clarium
Clarium is addressing the $25B annual overspend in the healthcare supply chain caused by fragmented data, inefficient workflows, and wasted supplies. Our AI-powered platform, Astra OS, provides hospitals with end-to-end visibility into their supply chain operations, automating workflows and delivering actionable insights so teams can focus on patient care. Trusted by leading health systems like Yale New Haven Health, Stanford, Geisinger, and Kaiser Permanente, Clarium was founded in 2020 and has raised $43M in funding, with a Series A led by Northzone and participation from General Catalyst, AlleyCorp, Kaiser Permanente Ventures, Texas Medical Center Ventures, and 1984 Ventures.
About the Role

We’re seeking a Tech Lead to elevate architecture, code quality, and technical execution—someone who leads through influence and hands-on craftsmanship rather than formal management. You’ll collaborate closely with the Director of Engineering and Product partners to ensure technical decisions align with both immediate roadmap goals and long-term codebase health. This role is ideal for someone who wants maximum technical scope and influence without people management responsibilities, leading by example, mentoring through code review and pairing, and tackling the team’s most challenging engineering problems.

- Experience mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar of a team through example and code review
- Strong collaborator who can align technical decisions with product and business goals
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical tradeoffs to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
