Engineering Sr. Technician II

Location: Temecula, California • Duration: 12 Months • Shift: 6AM to 2:30PM • 100% Onsite

About the Role

Responsible for troubleshooting and repairing medical device manufacturing equipment, supporting production issues, assisting with the installation and qualification of production equipment, and assisting with equipment maintenance. Takes direction from Engineering Manager, Manufacturing Supervisor, or higher.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair equipment following ISO/GMP published procedures.
• Use schematics, scopes, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools to adjust, repair, maintain, and test electronic equipment.
• Assist with installation and qualification of production equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on equipment.
• Assist with any necessary department responsibilities.
• Follow established safety procedures and perform duties in a safe manner.
• Other activities as requested or required by the Company.

Requirements

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical equipment and electronic devices down to component level.
• Medical device manufacturing experience and ISO/GMP training (preferred).
• Experience with Welders, Grinders, Lathes, Mills, Ovens, and Lasers.
• Knowledge of Omron Controllers and other I/O relays.
• Proficiency with Microsoft-based computer software programs.
• Must be a team player with good attention to detail.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
• Must be able to sit/stand for 2 to 3 hours at a time.
