About the role

Presidio is seeking an accomplished Senior Director to lead the Delivery function of our Data Center practice within the Modern Platforms organization. This executive role is accountable for end-to-end delivery of compute, storage, data protection, hybrid cloud connectivity, GPU/AI infrastructure, and related solutions across Presidio's national customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end delivery management for the Data Center practice, overseeing people, processes, partner resources, and performance metrics to drive consistent, high-quality outcomes.
  • Serve as the primary executive escalation point for critical delivery risks, project issues, and high-stakes customer situations requiring senior intervention.
  • Partner with Sales and Solutions Architecture teams to ensure offerings are market-ready, accurately scoped, and executable at enterprise scale prior to signature.
  • Ensure all projects meet commitments for timeline, budget, and quality standards through rigorous resource alignment, partner strategy, and enforcement of delivery standards.
  • Establish repeatable, scalable delivery frameworks for large-scale data center deployments, colocation facility builds, and multi-site national infrastructure rollouts.
  • Define and maintain service delivery standards for physical infrastructure, including structured cabling (copper and fiber optic), rack and stack hardware installation, rack configuration and labeling, and physical layer testing and certification.
  • Maintain post-signature delivery readiness by proactively managing resource capacity, partner engagement, and subcontractor performance.
  • Collaborate with GTM teams to define service offerings, branding strategies, and industry positioning that accelerate practice growth and market presence.
  • Work with clients to develop strategic infrastructure roadmaps over a 3–10-year horizon, creating scalable, resilient environments aligned with modern data workflows.
  • Interface with peer practice areas — including Advisory, Cloud Migration, Intelligent Ops, and Managed Services — to ensure cohesive, integrated solution delivery.
  • Cultivate and maintain strategic relationships with key technology partners: Dell, Cisco, Pure Storage, NetApp, Vast Data, Rubrik, Cohesity, and NVIDIA.
  • Oversee delivery of enterprise compute solutions encompassing server platforms, hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI), and virtualization from Dell and Cisco.
  • Direct design and deployment of on-premises and hybrid infrastructure architectures, ensuring seamless connectivity and workload mobility between on-prem data centers and public cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Guide technical teams in sizing, configuring, and deploying industry-leading platforms including Dell PowerEdge/PowerFlex, Cisco UCS/HyperFlex, Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade, NetApp ONTAP, and Vast Data Universal Storage.
  • Oversee delivery of NVIDIA-based AI infrastructure solutions, including DGX systems, HGX platforms, AI Enterprise software stack, and networking (InfiniBand, NVLink, Spectrum-X Ethernet).
  • Lead delivery of data protection solutions encompassing backup, recovery, ransomware resilience, and disaster recovery to ensure high availability and rapid incident response for customers.
  • Oversee deployment and configuration of enterprise data protection platforms including Rubrik Security Cloud, Cohesity DataProtect, and related backup/recovery solutions.
  • Ensure delivery teams are trained and certified on NVIDIA AI platforms and can execute at scale for enterprise and hyperscale customers.
  • Collaborate with Solutions Architecture on GPU cluster design, MLOps infrastructure, and AI factory patterns to ensure deployments are performant, reliable, and supportable post-delivery.
  • Serve as the recognized technical authority on Data Center technologies, providing guidance to customers, prospects, and internal teams on delivery best practices and architectural standards.
  • Provide engineering leadership and quality review to ensure appropriate scoping, resource utilization, and technical accuracy across all delivery engagements.
  • Contribute to RFP/RFI responses, proposals, and solution documentation to support pre-sales efforts.
  • Present practice capabilities and deliver technology education to account teams as new platforms and market opportunities emerge.
