Engineering Solutions Technical Program Manager

About the role

Anduril Industries is seeking an Engineering Solutions Application Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves working with developers and cross-functional teams to develop customizations, optimize workflows, and ensure engineering tools do not hinder the speed of design.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain custom engineering solutions
• Optimize workflows and improve engineering tool efficiency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to solve complex engineering challenges
• Provide training content that enhances user engagement and satisfaction
• Identify and implement process improvements based on user feedback and real-world results
• Ensure seamless data flow between engineering systems
• Support and troubleshoot technical issues related to deployment, configuration, and ongoing support

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in a design engineering role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent education/work experience)
• Prioritize solutions that deliver immediate value to engineers over complex approaches
• Understand the importance of adoption and the need for practical solutions
• Deep expertise in at least one engineering discipline and its associated tool stack
• Experience using a wide array of engineering design tools across multiple disciplines
• Proven ability to troubleshoot technical issues and find practical solutions
• U.S. Citizenship (required for export control)

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using engineering design tools and quick learning ability
• Understanding of data flow between engineering systems (CAD, PLM, ERP, MES)
• Experience in startup, defense, aerospace, or high-growth manufacturing environments
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)

Preferred Qualifications

• Training, instructional design, or technical education experience
• Basic knowledge of scripting, automation, or tool customization
• Familiarity with PLM systems (Teamcenter, Windchill, etc.) and their integration with design tools
• Experience supporting cross-functional engineering teams in complex product development
• Knowledge of process improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Agile)
