Engineering Senior II- Process

Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides engineering guidance to technicians and operators for troubleshooting and maintenance activities.
• Creates construction cost projections and evaluates the technical effort requirements for projects.
• Contributes to implementing maintenance strategies to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
• Identifies potential hazards and develops mitigation strategies.
• Ensures cost-effective procurement of engineering materials and services.
• Contributes to creating engineering procedures to enhance efficiency and consistency.
• Identifies opportunities to enhance operational efficiency and reliability.

Requirements

• Education: Typically requires a 4 year degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
• Experience: Typically requires 8 years of related experience.
• Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
  • Engineering Design: A series of steps that engineers follow to find a solution to a problem.
  • Troubleshooting: Data Analysis - Measuring and managing organization data, identifying methodological best practices and conducting statistical analyses.
  • Equipment Maintenance & Repair: Engineering Blueprint/Schematics Interpretation
  • Root Cause Analysis: The process of discovering the root causes of problems in order to identify appropriate solutions.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensuring an organization's adherence to laws, regulations, guidelines and specifications relevant to its business processes.
  • Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Management: The systematic approach to maintain health and safety at occupation and protect the environment.
  • Project/Program Management: The process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time.
  • Asset Management: A systematic process of developing, operating, maintaining, upgrading, and disposing of assets in the most cost-effective manner (including all costs, risks and performance attributes).
