This role requires 2-4 years of project management experience in an engineering or technical environment, with a strong understanding of engineering systems, processes, and the full project lifecycle. Proficient in project management tools such as MS Project or Smartsheet and capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining attention to detail.

- Experience in healthcare, manufacturing, or facilities engineering is preferred
- Strong familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning processes
- Effective management of financial resources within projects while aligning with organizational goals and operational needs
Required: Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Typical Physical/Mental Demands
- Moderate to heavy physical demand level capabilities required
- Regular exposure to mechanical, electrical, and varying environmental conditions
- Able to perform both office-based and fieldwork activities
- Occasional after-hours, weekend, or on-call support to address maintenance needs and emergencies
Essential Job Functions
- Work directly with the Director of Engineering to define project objectives, priorities, and success criteria
- Plan, coordinate, and manage engineering projects from initiation through completion
- Develop project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans
- Cook up with cross-functional teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure successful project execution
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and organizational standards
- Prepare and present project updates, reports, and documentation to stakeholders
- Oversee procurement of materials, equipment, and services for projects
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and forecast financial requirements
- Resolve technical and operational issues to maintain project timelines
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within engineering and operational processes
- Ensure projects comply with safety standards, engineering codes, and regulatory requirements
- Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and project documentation
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices
