Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Create, update, maintain change control, calibrations and assets for new machine and packaging line installations.
- Analyze equipment, machines and packaging processes for new potential business, utilizing knowledge or materials and parts, fabrication, tooling, equipment and personnel capabilities.
- Manage various new product and process quotes with Business Development, Cost Estimation, Facilities, Engineering, Maintenance and Production.
- Review and include customer requirements, drawings and specifications. Communicate and work with equipment vendors.
- Create and manage technical documents for new machines, parts and components for various machine and line installations across multiple building locations.
- Develop Capital Expenditure Reports in coordination with Facilities and Engineering for projects, equipment and machine installations.
- Track and report on project budgets, timelines and expenditures.
- Analyze equipment, machines and packaging processes for new potential business, utilizing knowledge or materials and parts, fabrication, tooling, equipment and personnel capabilities.
- Participate in the development of new and / or modified production projects and participate in various steps of the implementation, including equipment procurement and installation and qualification activities.
- Create and maintain work instructions, standard operation procedures, technical reports and engineering documentation.
- Develop documentation to meet anticipated new project requirements with various machines / equipment.
- Plan and direct various on site and off site testing for new machines / equipment as necessary.
- Provide training to various departments as necessary.
- Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
- Able to use various measurement devices such as a ruler, caliper and 32nds / 64ths scale.
Qualifications
- Required Bachelor's Degree in a related field and/or 3-5 years related experience and/or training.
- Statistical and Advanced Mathematical Skills.
- Intermediate Computer Skills: Ability to perform more complex computer tasks and has knowledge of various computer programs.
- Full Professional Proficiency: Ability to speak, read, and write fluently and accurately on all levels pertinent to professional needs.
- High Reasoning: Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where there is only limited standardization. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions that may be provided in various forms.
- Excellent communication skills, written, verbal.
- Pharmaceutical Experience Preferred.
- Ability to effectively present information to various people as the job requires.
- Ability to follow instructions and respond to management direction.
- Ability to work independently and / or as part of a team.
- Ability to demonstrate attention to detail.
- Ability to hold oneself in a professional manner.
- Ability to set and achieve changing goals.
- Ability to learn and / or take courses in Blue Print Reading and Solid Works as the job requires.
Pay
The hiring rate for this position is $69,920 - $78,660 plus eligibility for an annual performance bonus. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors including but not limited to specific and relevant experience, education, credentials, geography, and subject matter expertise.
