About the role

Join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles. Support the safety and security of the world's largest cloud computing portfolio while delivering high standards of efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Drive projects with moderate complexity.
  • Assist in troubleshooting of facility and rack-level events within internal Service Level Agreements (SLA).
  • Perform rack installs, rack decommissioning, operational readings, and facility management.
  • Provide key performance indicators to senior engineers.
  • Manage contractors, sub-contractors, and vendors, ensuring compliance with established practices, procedures, and local legislation.
  • Ensure adherence to safety procedures while performing work.
  • Support basic support concepts such as ticketing systems, root cause analysis, change management creation, writing procedures, and building management systems.
  • Work shifts up to 12 hours, rotating on a predefined schedule, and participate in on-call rotations.
  • Maintain data center critical infrastructure equipment to ensure 99.999% uptime.

Requirements

Logical access to AWS GovCloud will be restricted to U.S. citizens effective February 24, 2026, due to contractual requirements with the federal government.

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of relevant work experience.
  • Experience in relevant work.
  • Can bend or twist the body into unusual positions while working.
  • Use hands to manipulate small wires and objects.
  • Walk on job sites in uneven terrain.
  • Work at heights and from ladders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 4+ years of data center engineering experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/fiber) cabling.
  • Experience in data center engineering.
