About the location: Four Seasons Resort Hualalai is situated on the Big Island of Hawaii, blending seamlessly with the natural beauty of the island. The resort offers a unique blend of traditional Hawaiian culture and modern amenities, providing a serene environment for guests and team members alike.
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair HVAC and refrigeration systems, including boilers, pumps, valves, and central plant equipment
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance to ensure optimal system performance
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest maintenance requests in guest rooms and public areas
- Maintain and repair laundry and valet equipment
- Accurately record system readings (temperatures, pressures) and maintain detailed logs
- Support electrical setups for events and resort functions
- Partner with fellow team members to support the overall operation of the resort
Requirements
- Required: HVAC/R Certification and EPA Universal Certification
- Experience: Hands-on experience in HVAC/R maintenance and repair
- Skills: Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical and electrical systems, working knowledge of chillers, boilers, air handlers, and related systems, ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and system data, attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to safety
- Environment: Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
