Engineering Manager - Product Development & AI Engineering

About the role

We are seeking an Engineering Manager who can lead cross-functional engineering teams in building world-class software products from scratch. The ideal candidate should have a strong product engineering background, startup experience, delivery ownership, and a passion for leveraging AI to improve engineering productivity and product capabilities. This role combines technical leadership, people management, delivery ownership, and engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor software engineering teams.
• Drive end-to-end product development from concept to release.
• Work with Product Managers and Architects to define technical plans.
• Ensure engineering delivery aligns with business goals and timelines.
• Establish engineering best practices, coding standards, and quality frameworks.
• Drive Shift-Left Quality Engineering and Test Automation adoption.
• Implement DevOps, CI/CD, and platform engineering practices.
• Improve engineering productivity through AI-assisted development tools.
• Manage resource planning, sprint execution, and release management.
• Establish engineering KPIs and performance metrics.
• Coach teams on innovation, ownership, and continuous improvement.
• Build an engineering culture focused on agility, quality, and customer success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• 3+ years managing engineering teams.
• Proven experience delivering products from ideation to release.
• Strong background in Agile, Scrum, and Product Engineering environments.
• Experience with Cloud Platforms and Modern Application Architectures.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
