MYRE serves customers participating in a nationwide engineer-procure-construct (EPC) delivery, working on a wide range of projects including large transmission and substation projects, complete solar facilities, and energy storage.

Responsibilities

  • Understand and prepare proposals for Engineer, Procure, Construction (EPC) electrical substation, transmission, and distribution projects.
  • Manage and coordinate all detailed design engineering subcontractors and the associated engineering field liaison activities.
  • Coordinate all engineered equipment and material procurement activities.
  • Interface with equipment vendors, including expediting vendor procurement information and deliverables, or delegating work to the procurement manager as necessary.
  • Prepare the engineering and engineered equipment procurement requirements of the project.
  • Schedule day-to-day engineering subcontractor and equipment procurement activities and coordinate these activities with the Project Executive and/or Project Manager.
  • Perform additional duties as directed by the Project Executive and/or the Project Manager.
  • Manage the testing and commissioning contractor for EPC projects.
  • Understand and comply with the Company's Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and other industry-specific professional and ethical conduct standards, if applicable.
  • Regular and predictable attendance.
  • Travel up to 25% required.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in design, engineering, or project management related to electrical, transmission, distribution, and substation projects.
  • PE license.
  • Experience managing project teams or consultants is a plus.
  • Construction-related experience or EPC project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.

Skills

  • Ability to read and understand civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, etc. plans and specifications, including blueprints, proposals, and other documents as they relate to electrical work.
  • Computer literate and proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to prepare construction schedules in Microsoft Project and/or Primavera.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Team player who is able to successfully work with diverse internal and external partners.
  • Self-driven with the ability to stay on-task for extended periods of time.

Pay

Salary $130,000-$165,000 / year, paid weekly.
