Engineering Manager - Platform (FinHub - Financial Intelligence)

For our client, a leader in the Finance & Insurance space, we are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead work at the intersection of data, AI-enabled capabilities, and scalable technology delivery. You will collaborate with engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture and execution quality in a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a team of 6 engineers in technical and career growth
• Drive the re-architecture of critical account and transaction systems
• Own and advance the Finhub Tools roadmap for operational efficiency
• Shape architectural standards across systems and foster code quality
• Collaborate with leaders to set and execute strategic project roadmaps
• Recruit exceptional engineering talent and oversee quality assurance processes

Qualifications

• 7+ years in software engineering with 2+ years in engineering management
• Experience with distributed systems at scale in production environments
• A proven ability to turn complex technical challenges into actionable plans
• Background in financial systems and event-driven architectures
• Comfortable leading teams across diverse engineering domains
• Proficiency in managing AI-driven tools with human oversight

Pay

$218,025 – $256,500 annually
