Engineering Manager, Math Libraries Platform Expansion and Readiness

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, Math Libraries Platform Expansion and Readiness to join the team of a leader in the Telecommunications & Hardware space. This role will lead a team focused on expanding and validating high-performance math libraries across new platforms, with an emphasis on readiness, compliance, and technical excellence. The manager will partner closely with infrastructure, CI/CD, product, engineering, and program teams to ensure scalable integration and reliable delivery. This is a hands-on leadership position that blends people management with technical oversight, roadmap execution, and cross-functional coordination in a fast-paced hardware and software environment. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $224,000 – $431,250 annually Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and develop a software engineering team Ensure end-to-end platform readiness for math library integration and compliance Collaborate with CI/CD and infrastructure teams on validation pipelines Triage defects and resolve platform-specific and library-related issues Establish performance targets and testing for new platforms Deliver a technical roadmap that scales with supported platforms Coordinate with product, engineering, and program managers across teams Qualifications PhD or MSc in Computational Science and Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, or a related field 8+ years developing high-performance numerical software 3+ years of leading and mentoring software engineering teams Hands-on experience with C++ and Python for HPC software development Strong grasp of numerical methods and computations relevant to deep learning Benefits Eligible for equity and other benefits Hybrid work model available Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
