Engineering Manager - IT & Security

For a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space, we are seeking an Engineering Manager focused on secure, reliable systems and risk-aware execution. This role works across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions, influencing architecture, execution quality, and long-term technology capabilities.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Manage and mentor a team of IT and Security professionals
• Support team development and enhance IT & Security processes
• Lead compliance audit preparations and execution
• Provide IT & Security support to all employees
• Collaborate on security questionnaire responses with Operations teams
• Implement essential security projects and oversee their execution
• Promote security best practices and guidelines across the organization
• Manage security incidents and ensure vulnerability testing for all systems

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or relevant experience required
• 4+ years in Security and IT with at least 1 year in management
• Experience in establishing technical security guidelines across teams
• Strong familiarity with security best practices and frameworks
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• A problem-solving mindset with a passion for helping others
• Ability to adapt and quickly learn new technologies

Pay

$195,000 – $220,000 annually
