Engineering Manager, Building Generation

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of the generative model and BDG APIs
• Collaborate with PMs to scope PRDs and assess technical feasibility
• Evaluate and route technical proposals from your team
• Ensure technical coherence across both BDG teams within the company
• Shape the API surface between the building model and rendering systems
• Mentor engineers and recruit talent in computational geometry and CAD
• Manage a remote, async-first team with clear ownership

Qualifications

• 5+ years in software engineering with a strong focus on CAD/CAM or computational geometry
• 2+ years of experience managing technically deep engineering teams
• Deep understanding of computational geometry, including boolean operations and mesh processing
• Proven expertise in parametric and generative modeling for 2D and 3D geometries
• Experience in platform development and API design for various consumers
• Familiarity with geometry kernels and their trade-offs
