Engineering Manager
About the role
As the Engineering Manager at Linde Gas & Equipment Inc., you will serve as the lead technical representative in HAZOPs and design reviews. You will collaborate on project and technical teams, providing guidance to plant operations, project teams, and other process engineers.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop project plans for new systems, upgrades, efficiency improvements, and maintenance projects, ensuring strong timeline and cost controls to meet safety, quality, and business requirements.
- Develop system designs for ultra-high purity gas purification, handling, and disposal.
- Establish technical system requirements by reviewing product requirements, customer specifications, and performance standards.
- Maintain plant document control standards to ensure change and revision control.
- Develop software and controls narratives and collaborate with system integrators during software development.
- Ensure compliance with Linde policy and government regulations.
- Participate in final field safety inspections.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical preferred).
- Five (5) years of experience in high purity gas manufacture and processing.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Working knowledge and experience with applicable NFPA codes and CGA guidelines.
- Active and visible support for a culture of collaborative safety and health in the workplace.
- Commitment to high operational discipline and compliance with standard work procedures.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and AutoCAD.
