Engineering Manager

Responsibilities

• Leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing engineering team
• Partnering closely with Product, Design, and business stakeholders to define roadmaps and priorities
• Driving the delivery of scalable, customer-focused software solutions
• Supporting architectural decisions and technical strategy across the team
• Creating an environment that promotes collaboration, quality, and continuous improvement
• Managing team performance, career development, and hiring initiatives
• Balancing technical excellence with business impact and delivery goals
• Contributing to engineering best practices, operational processes, and team effectiveness

• Customer acquisition, onboarding, and growth experiences
• User engagement, retention, and marketplace features
• Platform infrastructure and developer tooling
• Scalability, performance, and engineering foundations

Requirements

• Strong people leadership experience within software engineering environments
• Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop engineers
• Strong commercial experience building and scaling SaaS products
• Technical background in modern web application development
• Experience working with technologies such as Python, Django, React, and TypeScript
• Ability to influence architectural decisions and technical direction
• Experience partnering closely with Product and Design teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
• Track record of delivering business-focused outcomes through engineering teams

Pay

$210,000 to $235,000 + Equity + Benefits
