Engineering Manager

I'm partnering with a manufacturing client seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering strategy, process improvement, and technical operations within a high-precision CNC manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity for a hands-on engineering leader who thrives in continuous improvement, machining/process optimization, team development, and operational excellence.

Pay

$110K to $130K

Onsite role in Central Illinois

Responsibilities

• Engineering leadership & department strategy
• CNC manufacturing process optimization & continuous improvement initiatives
• Programming, cycle time reduction, tooling performance, and setup improvements
• Team leadership, training, coaching, and performance development
• Project management, documentation, process controls & engineering standards
• Driving efficiency, cost reduction, and operational excellence across the shop floor

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of CNC manufacturing / engineering leadership experience
• Strong background in G-Code programming, process engineering, tooling, blueprint reading, GD&T, and machining operations
• Experience leading teams, solving complex manufacturing challenges, and improving production performance
