About the Role

The Engineering Manager will lead and mentor a cross-functional engineering team, ensuring high-quality delivery of product development, integration, and manufacturing support activities. This full-time, on-site role in Frederick, MD involves overseeing engineering projects from concept through production.

Requirements

• Demonstrated Engineering Management experience, including oversight of technical teams and engineering processes.
• Strong Team Leadership skills with the ability to coach, develop, and motivate engineers and technical staff.
• Hands-on background in Software Development or embedded systems supporting electronics products is preferred.
• Proficiency in Project Management, including planning, scheduling, risk management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience with Integration of hardware, software, and test systems in manufacturing or product realization environments.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field; advanced degree or relevant certifications are a plus.
• Familiarity with electronics manufacturing, PCB assembly, and quality standards such as AS9100 or ISO 9001.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Eligibility to work with government/defense projects.
