Engineering Manager, AI Transformation

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Engineering Manager, AI Transformation to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will lead a hands-on engineering function focused on applying AI to improve how technology solutions are designed, delivered, and operated. The manager will guide technical direction, support team development, and help translate business priorities into scalable AI-enabled engineering outcomes. This position also requires strong cross-functional partnership to align architecture, delivery, and operational rigor with organizational goals.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the AI Transformation engineering team
• Oversee architecture and delivery of AI solutions
• Guide technical decisions on agentic workflows and AI integrations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align engineering with business goals
• Drive operational maturity and CI/CD practices across solutions

Qualifications

• 7+ years of software engineering experience, including 2+ years in technical leadership roles
• Hands-on experience with LLM-based or agent-driven AI products
• Knowledge of cloud-native architecture and CI/CD practices
• Proficiency in TypeScript and/or Python programming languages
• Proven track record in engineering team development
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Experience in regulated environments, such as fintech, is advantageous

Pay

Compensation: $169,100 – $235,700 annually
