About the role
We have a team of awesome engineers, a product that sells itself, and we are now looking to add an engineering leader to thread the needle between delivering value, scaling up, and growing our engineers.
This role is all about balancing: priorities, structure and speed, short-term fixes versus durable solutions, and unique engineer personalities. It’s about saying yes—yes to speed, crazy ideas, team bonding, and supporting your team through challenges. It’s also about saying no—protecting engineers from endless requests.
Responsibilities
- Balance priorities, structure, and speed to deliver value while scaling the team and product
- Make technical trade-offs for building a scalable platform
- Gain the confidence and trust of engineers through technical expertise
- Leverage team strengths to solve the right problems
- Translate organizational noise into actionable insights for the team
- Support engineers with varying needs to maximize effectiveness
- Actively contribute to and shape company culture

- Technical expertise to understand platform scalability trade-offs
- Proven engineering skills to earn the trust of peers
- Ability to adapt leadership style to different team members’ needs

Pay
Compensation range: $220K - $290K
