Engineering Internship - Water Resources

About the role

Olsson offers clients a full spectrum of water resources services, including planning, design, permitting, and construction phase services. As a summer 2027 engineering student intern with our Water Resources team, you will perform meaningful, hands-on, real-world work that will transform your classroom experience and help you envision your future career.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with other team members and engineers on client projects related to hydrologic and hydraulic analysis for stormwater and flood control management, floodplain management, and scour and erosion control
• Provide project design utilizing AutoCAD, MicroStation, GIS/ArcPRO, HECRAS, HECHMS, or PCSWMM depending on the project
• Assist with performing technical analysis, preparing construction documents, performing research, and writing technical reports
• Travel to job sites for field observation when projects require
