Engineering Internship (Must be US Citizen)

IERUS specializes in technologies and design for Weapon Systems, Analytical Computing, and electromagnetics (RF, IR, and Optical) applications. We also support customers with a diverse set of competencies including software development, air and missile defense, and systems engineering. About the role

We are seeking year-round engineering interns to work at our Huntsville, AL location. Open to both graduate and undergraduate students, our internships offer cross-training and exposure to:

• Radar Systems
• Aerospace Systems
• Avionics
• Modeling and Simulation
• Antenna Design and Analysis
• Software Development

In this role, you will perform a variety of engineering tasks, including:

• Lab Prototyping & Testing with hardware and test software
• Documenting test results and ensuring compliance with defense industry standards
• Designing fixtures
• Other project engineering tasks

You will learn about DoD contracts and assist in executing ongoing programs across various stages of the engineering lifecycle.

Requirements

• Must be a US citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
• Currently enrolled in college pursuing a Bachelor or Master of Science in one of the following fields:
  • Aerospace Engineering
  • Mechanical Engineering
  • Electrical Engineering
  • Computer Engineering
  • Systems Engineering
  • Computer Science
  • Physics
  • Optics
  • Mathematics
  • Another related science/technical field
• Strong analytical thinking and willingness to learn
