Responsibilities

• Support engineering staff by performing basic engineering assignments in the design and development of crane control systems (Electrical) or crane structures and mechanisms (Mechanical)
• This can involve participation with planning, technology research, functional design, prototyping, product/component testing, etc.

• Assist in the analysis and improvement of manufacturing processes, workflows, and plant layouts.
• Participate in Kaizen events, value stream mapping, and waste reduction activities.
• Develop and maintain standard work instructions, process documentation, and visual management tools.
• Collect, organize, and analyze production data to identify improvement opportunities and support decision making.
• Assist with time studies, capacity analysis, labor utilization, and line balancing activities.
