Engineering Excellence Lead - Finance
About the role
The Engineering Excellence Lead will support the implementation of Net Cost Reductions, facilitate and coach Engineering Excellence competencies, and partner with plants to deploy these competencies.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the plants to implement Net Cost Reductions, including reports, progress, and developing multi-year cost reduction portfolios
- Build on their skills and experiences by being responsible for another Engineering Excellence key area or competencies
- Facilitate and coach Engineering Excellence competencies to support plant and division engineers to solve critical technical problems
- Support overall AO Engineering Excellence deployment
Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field with Mechanical, Materials, Optics, Chemical, or Industrial engineering preferred
- Experience: Minimum of 7 years of experience applying Engineering Excellence methodologies to improve processes, deliver new products, and/or expand process knowledge
- Experience: Multiple years of experience in plant engineering role(s)
- Soft Skills: Must have a strong instinct to act, be self-motivated, and demonstrate the ability to make well-informed decisions; proven ability to influence teams and stakeholders, both with and without direct authority; exceptional collaboration skills to work effectively across multiple locations and teams to achieve goals; strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple assignments simultaneously; must be an effective communicator (written and verbal) with proficiency in presenting complex technical concepts clearly; analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Travel: Potential for up to 25% travel for this role
Qualifications
- Must have a bachelor’s degree in an engineering or science field with Mechanical, Materials, Optics, Chemical, or Industrial engineering preferred
- Minimum of 7 years of experience applying Engineering Excellence methodologies to improve processes, deliver new products, and/or expand process knowledge
- Multiple years of experience in plant engineering role(s)
- Experience working across diverse business environments and collaborating with multiple cross-functional teams

Pay
$97,286.00 - $133,768.00 assuming full time status. Starting pay for the successful applicant is dependent on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
Schedule
Mostly 8am to 5pm Eastern with flexibility to support global organization
