About the role

Mesa’s Power Delivery Substation Business Unit has an opportunity based out of our Lakewood, CO office for a Director to lead and support our customers and associates.

This position is based out of Mesa’s West Region in the Lakewood, CO office.

Responsibilities

  • Leadership - Continually recruit new associates and develop new business opportunities for your team. Develop Mesa’s leaders of tomorrow by providing a diverse and inclusive workspace that attracts and retains future leaders. Communicate Mesa’s company vision as part of your daily activities and interactions. Share the importance of the company’s vision with your team and how we make a difference in our customers' lives. Work with your customers, teams, and Mesa leadership to define, shape and refine our company’s strategic goals. Identify future customer needs and opportunities and prepare your team to be ready to serve those needs. Contribute business insights and recommendations to ensure Mesa is sustainable for our family of associates and their families.
  • Business Planning and Development - Identify and plan for new business opportunities. Develop Mesa’s relationships with new and existing customers as a “valued and trusted partner”. Provide leadership support in contract discussions, financial reviews, and other key business negotiations. Manage risks for our customers and your office teams. Create and manage sales and operational budgets for your office(s). Guide your teams to deliver client satisfaction and customer retention through our deliverables.
  • Customer Service and Customer Quality - Coach, mentor, and be a servant leader to your Program Managers, Project Managers, and Project Engineers. Define your and your teams’ goals for excellence in terms of customer service and quality and assist your team in achieving and surpassing those goals. Be a Quality Champion and a partner with Mesa’s Quality Management team to receive and provide feedback from/to all internal and external stakeholders to ensure continuous process improvement. Monitor projects, programs and/or portfolios during project execution phases and proactively assist your project teams to achieve internal and external KPI’s. Encourage and maintain a healthy Work/Life balance for you and your teams.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience associated in the Electric Power Industry is mandatory and prior experience in Renewables is preferred for this position.
  • Active PE license. PMP certification preferred.
  • Years Of Experience: 10 years or greater in a leadership/management position with a progressive level of responsibility for business and customer stewardship.

Pay

The expected compensation is a range determined by factors including but not limited to education, experience, and qualifications of the candidate, internal equity, work location, and hiring department’s fiscal resources.

A 9/80 work schedule is offered.
