Engineering Director

Responsibilities

• Lead technical solutions and project safety across multi-discipline capital programs
• Provide leadership to Project Leaders, Project Managers, and Engineers, managing both direct and indirect reports
• Cultivate an inclusive workplace to attract and retain top engineering talent
• Manage project management, engineering, and cost control resources to align with business strategies
• Enhance project management effectiveness and drive business value
• Lead innovation and capital projects to boost safety, reliability, and productivity in manufacturing
• Coordinate with suppliers, consultants, and contractors to ensure project success

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required; Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred
• Minimum of ten years in food manufacturing, packaging technologies, and project management
• Leadership experience in Food and Beverage or regulated manufacturing environments (e.g., FDA, USDA)
• Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience in managing capital projects across multiple sites
• Track record of developing and overseeing capital budgets/projects of $10M or more
• Willing to travel approximately 50% for project needs

$135,000 – $200,000 annually
