Responsibilities
- Conforms project plan sheets to Company standards
- Ensures that engineering and field notes and other details are incorporated into plans, drawings and other engineering documents as required by the project manager
- Completes final project deliverables on time and within budgets
- Prepares proposal exhibits that are clear and concise, and are suitable for review by clients, potential clients, and the public
- Communicates appropriately to project managers and supervisor regarding ny conflicts or problems related to the quality or schedule for deliverables
- Prepares assignments to meet quality standards/ expectations of the client (external & internal)
- Prepares proposal exhibits, presentation boards, report exhibits, civil plans, structure plans, right of way exhibits, utility plans, change order plans and as-built drawings
- Supports the preparation of design details, specifications and estimates
- Maintains consistent flow of communication with the project team and project manager regarding project status
- Congveys technical information utilizing clear verbal and written skills
- Demonstrates understanding of Company drafting and file naming standards
- Demonstrates a dedication to the organization and industry through participation in training activities and actively seeking opportunities to contribute to the achievement of Company goals
Qualifications
- 2 years of college or AAS degree in engineering or engineering technology preferred
- 3-5+ years of relevant experience
- Working knowledge of MS Office and AutoCAD, Micro-station experience preferred
- Demonstrated effective written and verbal skills
- Ability to prioritize and organize assigned tasks in a timely manner
- Ability to work & collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to develop and maintain professional relationships with a variety of unique and diverse people and personalities
