Engineering COOP - Manufacturing/Quality (Jan - August 2027)

About the role

We're seeking team members who thrive in fast-paced manufacturing environments for our 2027 Engineering COOP positions at our Orange City, IA facility.

Responsibilities

• Shadowing members of the assigned department as they perform their duties.
• Assisting with daily departmental duties such as research, filing, data entry, and recording and maintaining accurate and complete records.
• Preparing reports and other documents.
• Handling sensitive or confidential information with honesty and integrity.
• Learning how to work as part of a departmental team to compile and analyze data, track information, and support the company or clients.
• Taking on additional tasks or projects to learn more about department and office operations.

Requirements

• Must be self-motivated and able to work independently.
• Must have excellent attention to detail and proven ability to work with detailed information/data.
• Must be able to operate standard office equipment, Microsoft Office programs, and basic awareness of ERP module and systems.
• Able to organize, conduct and schedule meetings.
• Experience in composites or other manufacturing is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a current student enrolled in a degree-granting program.
• Must be available for full-time, 12-month commitment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate shifts and project needs.

Skills

• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and ERP systems.
