Engineering Co-op
About the Company
Metrea delivers effects-as-a-service to national security partners across five domains and more than a dozen mission areas, including airborne ISR, electronic warfare, secure communications, aerial refueling, special air missions, aerial firefighting, and advanced simulation. The company owns the entire stack—designing, building, and operating turnkey capabilities to provide partners with decisive, asymmetric advantage against rapidly evolving threats.
Metrea’s operating model is built around three interlocking pillars: Support Groups (global shared-services), Core Groups (end-to-end mission capability development), and Market Groups (regional alignment). The company is headquartered in Washington, DC, with facilities across the United States, the United Kingdom, Continental Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
About the Group
The Electromagnetic and Cyber Group (EM&C) develops and builds systems for communications and RF sensing. Within EM&C, RADLAB is the radar capability area—a small team building novel capabilities from the ground up, taking ideas from physics and math through simulation, prototype, and test.
