About the Program

Hubbell’s 10 to 12-week Internship Program offers students corporate experience, exposure to all aspects of our business, and the skills needed for a rewarding career at Hubbell. Engineering focus areas include:

Responsibilities

• Apply classroom knowledge to on-the-job experiences.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Collaborate in teams and with colleagues in a professional environment.
• Develop technical skills specific to your major.
• Build relationships and learn about other parts of the business through professional development opportunities.
• Present to the local management team at the end of the program.
• Gain industry knowledge relevant to the Hubbell business location.
• Develop planning and organizational skills.
• Work on challenging, robust projects for practical experience.
• Assist with process improvement initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and work independently with minimal supervision.
• Provide support and assistance to co-workers as appropriate.

Requirements

• Enrollment in an accredited university working toward a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree related to the internship (required).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA (required).
• Experience with Microsoft Office products preferred.
• Familiarity with relevant software and systems.
