About the role
The St. Paul Minnesota, office has an opening for a Structural Engineering Intern position for Summer 2027. This position will be a combination of office and time in the field. You will get hands-on experience collaborating on bridge inspections, above- and underwater, bridge design and load rating, and working on other various tasks with our seasoned engineers. You will also have the opportunity to be paired with professional licensed engineers to create reports using data collected from field sites.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on bridge inspections, both above- and underwater.
- Participate in bridge design and load rating projects.
- Work on various tasks alongside experienced engineers.
- Create reports using data collected from field sites under supervision.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering program at an accredited institution.
- Strong academic performance.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles.
Qualifications
- Passion for civil engineering and a desire to work in the field.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Good organizational skills.
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
