Engineering - Civil Engineer/Project Manager 8+ Years Experience
About the Role
KPFF Los Angeles is seeking motivated and energetic experienced civil engineers. Candidates will work on a wide variety of interesting and collaborative projects with substantial growth opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Apply engineering principles to solve problems and overcome obstacles using sound judgement, independent decision-making, and prolonged focus.
- Prepare SUSMPs, SWPPPs, and WQMPs.
- Visit job sites to inspect existing conditions and envision potential scope of work requirements.
- Focus on client satisfaction and maintain high-level communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work in a cooperative team environment with an interest in training, developing, and supporting staff.
Requirements
- At least eight years’ experience in site development, plus engineering, project management, and planning experience.
- B.S. degree or higher in Civil Engineering or related field.
- California P.E. license.
- Minimum of five years of experience.
- Experience with sustainable design practices, meeting Low Impact Development (LID) and Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) goals.
- Ability to sit and/or stand for prolonged periods while working at a desk on a computer.

Pay
The base salary for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 depending on education, experience, and licensure. Additionally, performance-based bonuses are offered to recognize and reward outstanding contributions.
