Full-time position supporting our engineering team with a focus on managing and maintaining engineering documentation and records in electronic formats.
Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain document control systems to ensure the organization, security, accessibility, and integrity of engineering and project-related documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, industry regulations, and document management best practices.
- Manage document control processes, including document creation, labeling, classification, storage, distribution, revision tracking, approval workflows, and version control.
- Conduct quality assurance reviews to verify the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of documents prior to release.
- Maintain and update document registers and records to ensure documentation remains current, traceable, and readily accessible.
- Upload, maintain, and manage Bills of Materials (BOMs) and related documentation within designated electronic systems.
- Track, maintain, and report key performance indicators (KPIs) related to document control activities and departmental objectives.
- Provide administrative and documentation support to department personnel as needed.
Requirements
- High school diploma required; associate degree in Engineering Technology, Administration, or related field preferred.
- 1–5 years of experience in document control, engineering support, or technical administrative roles.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Outlook.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy across multiple documents.
- Solid organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in engineering, manufacturing, or technical environments.
- Familiarity with Bills of Materials (BOMs), engineering drawings, or technical documentation.
- Experience using ERP, PDM, PLM, or document control systems.
- Basic understanding of engineering terminology and workflows.
