About the Role
Techwave is hiring an Entry-Level Engineering Assistant in Houston, TX, to support OSP (Outside Plant) fiber network design. The role involves drafting telecom designs using CAD tools, assisting with Right-of-Way (ROW) and permit research, preparing design packages, and collaborating with engineering and field teams.
Responsibilities
- Draft telecom designs using CAD tools.
- Assist with Right-of-Way (ROW) and permit research.
- Prepare design packages for engineering projects.
- Collaborate with engineering and field teams.
Requirements
- 1+ year of experience with AutoCAD, MicroStation, or similar CAD tools.
- High School diploma required; Engineering degree preferred.
- Exposure to OSP telecom or utility construction is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
