About the Role

Performs advanced technical and engineering problem-solving in support of nuclear plant operations. Responsible for technical decisions with excellent knowledge in functional discipline and its practical application, including detailed knowledge of applicable industry codes and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth technical expertise to develop, manage, and implement engineering analysis, activities, and programs.
• Offer technical expertise and consultation to identify and resolve equipment and system problems.
• Manage engineering issues, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of work while adhering to standard design criteria, practices, procedures, and codes.
• Perform independent research, reviews, studies, and analyses in support of regulatory and technical projects.
• Recommend equipment, new concepts, and techniques to improve performance, simplify construction, reduce costs, correct design or material flaws, or comply with changes in codes or regulations.
• Perform additional job assignments as directed, including emergency response, departmental coverage, call-outs, and support of outage activities.

Requirements

Mid-Level (Engineering Analyst/E02):

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineering) and 2+ years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• Associate’s degree in a technical field and 3+ years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of applicable nuclear experience.
• Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems for the specific functional area.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties.

Senior-Level (Engineering Analyst/E03):

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical field (non-engineering) and 5+ years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• Associate’s degree in a technical field and 7+ years of nuclear or related industry experience, OR
• High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 8 years of nuclear or related experience, of which 5 years should be at the exempt level.
• Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems for the specific functional area.
• Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access, as applicable, and favorable medical examination/testing in accordance with position duties.

Pay

Expected annual salary ranges:

• Mid-Level: $96,000 – $108,000
• Senior-Level: $128,000 – $144,000

Ranges are based on experience and include a comprehensive benefits package with bonus and 401(k).
