Basic Qualifications
- Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret (or higher) security clearance.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 0-1 years of related technical or engineering support experience.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
- Proven ability to juggle multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain accurate records.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to interface with internal and external stakeholders with a high degree of technical and interpersonal competency.

The Submarine C5I Systems Engineering and Integration (SE&I) program is seeking a full-time, highly motivated Engineering Aide to provide technical support in an Agile environment. You will join the Bay team to perform hardware and software installations, conduct build check-outs, and execute root-cause troubleshooting while supporting Integration & Test (I&T) engineers with system testing and issue documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate within an Agile environment, emphasizing continuous integration of hardware and software.
- Perform basic hardware and software installation and routine maintenance activities.
- Manage hardware and software configurations, including version control.
- Conduct regular build check-outs to maintain configuration integrity.
- Execute system testing and evaluation activities.
- Assist in troubleshooting hardware and software issues to isolate the root cause.
- Record test outcomes, failure reports, and any gaps in documentation.
- Follow the team lead’s guidance and work together to prioritize tasks efficiently.

Desired Skills
- Working knowledge of the Linux command-line interface for system navigation, scripting, and basic troubleshooting.
- Hands-on experience setting up hardware and cabling based on technical drawings.
- Familiarity with Atlassian Jira and Confluence products, including experience with agile project planning, issue tracking, and collaboration tools.
- Experience with asset management or configuration management.
- Strong organizational skills.
