Engineered Systems Technician 3/4

About the role

Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high-power RF equipment at a scientific facility. Support the operation and upgrades of RF amplifier systems, collaborate on new equipment design, and provide on-call assistance during off-hours and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Read electrical schematics and prototype electronic chassis
• Work with electrical and electronic systems, including high-voltage and RF components
• Perform mechanical and electrical modifications
• Operate and maintain RF test equipment and cooling systems

Requirements

• Associate’s Degree in a related field
• 3–5 years of experience with electronic test equipment and high-power RF systems

Desired Skills

• Proficiency with CAD software
• Experience with high-voltage systems and circuit simulation
