Responsibilities
- Provide Engineering support to field and staff personnel through a variety of projects and assignments.
- Evaluate system performance through modeling, develop system designs, oversee construction, maintenance, and operations activities.
- Investigate incidents, troubleshoot systems and equipment, test materials, and perform other assignments.
- Work with a variety of analytical software to provide solutions to improve efficiency of natural gas transmission and distribution systems.
- Understand the operation of gas facilities to properly supply natural gas to customers.
- Manage Maximum Allowable Operating Pressure (MAOP) reconfirmation program.
- Perform Risk Modeling in line inspection planning and execution.
- Plan and execute External Corrosion Direct Assessment.
- Develop knowledge of the installation process of new facilities and the retirement of existing ones as part of new pipeline construction programs.
- Ensure quality service delivery to customers.
- Work with various stakeholders and provide input on technical engineering aspects of projects.
- Create Annual reports that are internally or externally required.
- Develop understanding of various industry standards and federal code requirements (49 CFR Part 192).
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.
- Valid driver's license and meet company standards for driving.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with transmission pipelines.
- Experience with (49 CFR Part 192).
- Experience with ESRI products such as ArcMap and ArcGIS Pro.
Pay
Pay Range Minimum: $68,436.68
Pay Range Maximum: $135,761.08
