ENGINEER TEST 3

The Role

Designs, develops, and implements testing methods and equipment. Plans and arranges the labor, schedules, and equipment required for testing and evaluating standard and special devices. Provides test area with parameters for sample testing and specifies tests to be performed. Compiles data and defines changes required in testing equipment, testing procedures, manufacturing processes, or new testing requirements. Responsible for testing all customer samples and for special tests that cannot be performed in the test area.

Responsibilities

• Reviews System Test Requirements provided by Contract Specification and Engineering Department, gathers equipment and system performance specifications for each construction contract, and incorporates those specifications into a structured test philosophy and approach.
• Provides Operational Test with Test Instructions and Procedures that adequately demonstrate the equipment and system performance to the External Customer that complies with the specifications/contract.
• Identifies test documents required to be developed (Test Index) and prepares and writes the Test Procedure (TP).
• Utilizes the application of control processes (problem reporting) necessary to ensure quality feedback and maintain records reflecting Test Verification Records (Test Reports) in compliance with contract specifications, Quality Management, and test requirements.

Requirements

• High School diploma and 9 years of experience -or-
• Associates degree and 7 years of experience -or-
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience -or-
• Masters degree and 3 years of experience -or-
• PHD and 0 years of experience

• Ability to interact and present information verbally and in writing to internal and external customers.
