Position Title: Engineer Systems II Location: Newport, RI Clearance required: SECRET Scope of Work: Provides engineering support for network, telephone, and media infrastructure, performing design, integration, and analysis to enhance the NUWCDIVNPT communications environment. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Provide network, telephone, and media engineering services including design and integrationPerform testing to verify functional requirements and analyze resultsPrepare system designs, drawings, topology maps, and technical specificationsDevelop feasibility studies, recommendations, and plans of action and milestonesMinimum education, years of experience, and skills in accordance with the NUWCDIVNPT labor category description for this position and level.Engineering experience with network, telephone, or media systemsPersonnel supporting the classified and unclassified network infrastructure must hold the certifications required to support the systems in accordance with SECNAV M-5239.2
