Engineer – System Verification and Validation

Responsibilities

• Supporting refinement of the program’s verification strategy and approach
• Conducting verification activities using system requirements, verification methods, and producing design compliance reports
• Aiding in the development and maintenance of the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
• Performing data analysis and collaborating with teams to support verification and validation of system requirements
• Conducting impact and traceability assessments and recommending corrective actions
• Preparing technical documentation, presentations, data packages, and white papers
• Participating in IPTs, working groups, and communities of practice
• Attending customer staff meetings
• Supporting execution of the Systems Engineering Verification process, including technical reviews

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
• Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%

Preferred

• Up to 4 years of relevant work experience
• Experience defining a verification process for a new program
• Experience within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) environment
• INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification

Pay

Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921

However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
