Engineer – System Verification and Validation
Responsibilities
- Supporting refinement of the program’s verification strategy and approach
- Conducting verification activities using system requirements, verification methods, and producing design compliance reports
- Aiding in the development and maintenance of the Requirements Verification and Traceability Matrix (RVTM)
- Performing data analysis and collaborating with teams to support verification and validation of system requirements
- Conducting impact and traceability assessments and recommending corrective actions
- Preparing technical documentation, presentations, data packages, and white papers
- Participating in IPTs, working groups, and communities of practice
- Attending customer staff meetings
- Supporting execution of the Systems Engineering Verification process, including technical reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline with at least 2 years of relevant experience; or a Master’s degree in Systems, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related engineering discipline
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with diverse teams
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 10%
Preferred
- Up to 4 years of relevant work experience
- Experience defining a verification process for a new program
- Experience within the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) environment
- INCOSE Associate Systems Engineering Professional (ASEP) certification
Pay
Full-Time Salary Range: $79365 - $134921
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
