Pay range: $75,400.00 - $135,700.00. Pay is based on several factors including labor markets, education, work experience, and certifications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical specialist delivering engineering that powers the product
• Develop insight into the technical architecture and design to deliver robust and scalable software components
• Solve engineering problems with expertise, balancing speed of delivering new features and robustness of software
• Handle operational issues with little or no oversight
• Actively review code to ensure software quality and functional accuracy across the team
• Learn the design and architecture of the product and participate in ceremonies that influence both

Requirements

• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 1+ years of software development experience with at least one full-cycle implementation
• Familiarity with current and emerging technologies in your scope of responsibility
• Understanding of package solutions and package-specific programming languages, including development objects
• Domain-specific knowledge and continuous learning in your area of expertise
• Proficiency in at least one computer language
• Understanding of distributed programming concepts and their application
• Knowledge of data structures in your chosen programming language and how to apply them
• Maintains technical knowledge within areas of expertise
• Stays current with new and evolving technologies via formal training and self-directed education

Schedule

This position operates as a Hybrid/Flex for Your Day work arrangement based on Target’s needs. The role requires onsite work at the Target HQ MN location and virtual work, depending on the day’s tasks. Work duties cannot be performed outside of the primary work location country unless otherwise prescribed by Target.
