About the role
The Transport Automation & Orchestration team develops software solutions that automate the implementation of Transport Network designs across T-Mobile's nationwide network infrastructure. This role supports the transformation of manual network engineering processes into intelligent, automated workflows.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications using modern software development technologies and practices.
- Develop backend services, APIs, integrations, automation workflows, and supporting application components that enable transport automation initiatives.
- Contribute to application performance, reliability, maintainability, and scalability improvements.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and production issues as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Engineering.
- 2-4 years of technical engineering experience.
- Knowledge of modern software development technologies and practices.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, deployment processes, monitoring, and operational support.
- Ability to evaluate and apply new technologies, including automation platforms, AI-assisted development tools, and evolving software engineering practices.
