About the role

This role is essential for designing, implementing, and deploying scalable software solutions that meet customer requirements and support high-availability environments. You will collaborate with engineering teams to develop software components using technologies such as virtualization, microservices, software-defined networking, network functions virtualization, and modular network services through Ansible or Terraform. The position requires independent development of full software stacks and understanding of system protocols, data flows, and technology interactions. Success is measured by the ability to deliver technical solutions, produce clear documentation, and contribute to technology strategies and innovation. The work impacts the organization by enabling advanced software systems that improve operational efficiency and support business goals.

Responsibilities

• Develop software solutions that support engineering projects and meet customer requirements
• Collaborate with technical teams to deliver effective technical solutions and continuously learn new technologies
• Create clear documentation for software code, system designs, and business requirements
• Contribute to technology strategy by understanding current technologies and supporting business goals
• Present innovative ideas to improve systems, processes, or services based on industry research
• Perform other duties or projects assigned by business management as needed

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree plus 3 years of related work experience OR advanced degree with 1 year of related work experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience (Required)
• Acceptable areas of study include Computer Science or Engineering (Required)
• 2-4 years of technical engineering experience (Required)
• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Travel required

Pay

Base pay range: $92,500 - $166,800. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on work location, qualifications, and experience. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance, set at 15% of eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
