Engineer Senior Principal - Mission Integration - $10K Sign-On Bonus

Responsibilities
- Develop, release, and maintain the SV to ground ICD and all ICDs with external interfaces.
- Provide support to development of the mission CONOPS and functional baseline.
- Define simulator requirements and use-cases to support Collection Segment and Mission Integration & Test activities.
- Work closely with the verification lead to develop the mission level verification plan.
- Develop and/or implement the Mission Test Plan and Mission-level Test Procedures.
- Ensure all simulator, Ground Support Equipment, network interfaces and other resources are identified and in place to support mission level testing.
- Lead mission-level test activities, including early data exchanges, risk-reduction activities, end-to-end data verification, space to ground compatibility, factory compatibility, and multi-segment testing.
- Support operations and launch rehearsal development and execution.
- Plan and execute continuous Mission System Integration and Test activities post-launch due to issue resolution, software updates, ground system updates, discrepancy reports, regression testing, and operations updates.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, Strategic Business Units, Strategic Capabilities Units, and the Company.
- Interact appropriately with others to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
Requirements
- BS degree or higher in Engineering or a related technical field, with 8 or more years of related experience.
- A current, active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI Polygraph.
- Experience developing mission level ICDs.
- Experience developing mission level test plans and supporting execution.
- Proven technical leadership experience and familiarity with mission systems integration.
- Experience in either mission system, spacecraft systems, ground systems, and payload systems.
Preferred
- Experience supporting launch vehicle integration process at launch site.
- Experience in MBSE, Linux OS, JIRA, and large program test management.
- Proven success as a technical team lead.
- Experience with mission operations.
- Solid interpersonal skills, ability to lead group discussions, and set priorities.
- Highly desired skills: Python scripting knowledge, procedure development and execution, verification of ROPs using python/sim operations, general spacecraft operations knowledge, general simulator operations knowledge, hands-on and detailed oriented experience with mission operations, experience with mission integration and test, pre- and post-launch.
Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $132962 - $226035. Individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
