About the role
Facilities Development and Management, FM KE Facilities Services, MacroTechnology Works (MTW), seeks an experienced Senior Engineer with knowledge of Power Distribution systems within a robust mission critical manufacturing environment, specifically either Semiconductor Manufacturing or Mission Critical Datacenter facilities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with design reviews of the electrical distribution systems for ongoing and upcoming projects.
- Sign off on new electrical distribution installations and the installation of new and/or relocated equipment.
- Advise site leadership on necessary electrical system improvements including working with site Facilities teams in developing long term reliability plans and capital improvement plans.
- Work with operations staff to develop and improve upon the existing electrical maintenance program for the site, including a transition from preventative to predictive maintenance.
- Act as site liaison to Salt River Project including planning and coordination of electrical maintenance and outage activities.
- Maintain, update, and assign circuits from MTW’s electrical panel database.
- Maintain or work with ASU CAD resources to update single line drawings.
- Additional duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree and five (5) years of experience appropriate to the area of assignment/field including two (2) years managerial experience; OR, Any equivalent combination of experience and/or training from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved.
- Registered professional engineer (PE) in the State of Arizona or the ability to obtain within six months of hire.
- Master’s degree in electrical engineering.
Qualifications
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical distribution systems to assess and adjust or modify to achieve maximum efficiency.
- Establish and track overall site capacities and work with management to plan timely upgrades.
- Effective communication skills.
- Experience in Facilities Operational Engineering role in an advanced semiconductor cleanroom (class 10/100, ISO Class 4/5).
- Maintaining, updating and assigning circuit assignments from an electric panel database.
- Coordinating electric panel studies and reviewing results to manage facility capacities.
- Conducting design reviews of facility electrical distribution systems for site improvement and tool installation projects.
- Providing recommendations on necessary electrical system improvements and developing long term reliability plans.
- Developing RFPs/RFQs (request for proposals/quotes).
- Evidence of knowledge of principles of operation of cleanrooms and mechanical systems.
- Local, state, and federal codes, regulation, and mandates- especially building codes and the National Electrical Code.
- “H Occupancy” requirements per the International Building Codes.
Skills
- Proficient in the use of Bluebeam.

Pay
$140,000 to $150,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. May be required to work extended daily or weekend hours depending on activities at site.
