Engineer/Scientist: BGD-2106

Responsibilities

• Research and development to support NASIC and/or AFRL mission requirements.
• Requirements generation, system design, and test and evaluation as required.
• Apply theoretical and practical knowledge of various phenomenology, analysis techniques, and remote sensing.
• Provide a working knowledge of physics and systems tools to accomplish mission parameters.
• Understand radar, optics, lasers, electromagnetic pulse, and techniques applicable to integration of electro-optical, infrared, electromagnetic, and radio frequency (RF) sensors using ground-based, airborne, and space-based collection platforms.

Education Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Physics
• Master's Degree or PhD in a related technical field is desirable

Experience Requirements

• 5-8 years of demonstrated technical experience

Special Skills Desired

• Specific experience within DoD, with NASIC, AFRL experience desired
