About the role

MELE Associates, Inc. is seeking to add an experienced Engineer/Scientist to support the National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) in the execution of its mission, including providing technical, programmatic management, environmental planning and logistics support services.

Responsibilities

  • Integration support activities including assessing and recommending workflow processes to distinguish between the activities required to manage NNSA-HQ activities with those required to manage projects in the field.
  • Provide a liaison between NNSA Offices/Programs, other department offices and outside organizations.
  • Generate the Program Documents and coordinate/participate in forums (e.g., SIEWG, RMT, JEWG, RWG).
  • Work to establish requirements for tracking and tracing infrastructure across the enterprise.
  • Develop processes and plans for down-selects. Coordinate down-select actions with M&Os and track progress.
  • Provide qualification requirements and testing advisement; develop a program qualification and testing database; coordinate NNSA policy in the Qualification Working Group; participate in MRS coordination and planning.
  • Participate as a member on Technology Realization Teams and Product Realization Teams for components and sub-systems as assigned. Provide status of TRT/PRT activities, issues, accomplishments, and risks.

Requirements

  • Current, active DOE Q Clearance/Top Secret Clearance with ability to acquire SCI.
  • Masters’s degree in engineering or science-related field.
  • Eight (8) years of relevant experience is equivalent to a four (4) year bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum twelve (12) years of government experience.
  • Superior communication, organizational, interpersonal, and writing skills.

Qualifications

Salaries are determined based on several factors including external market data, internal equity, and the candidate’s related knowledge, skills, and abilities for the position.

This is a full-time on-site position in Albuquerque, NM 87123 USA.
